High Temperature Molybdenum Sheet Molybdenum Lanthanum Alloy Sheet With Density 10.2g/cm3
Introduction of High Temperature Molybdenum Sheet
High temperature molybdenum sheet, also known as molybdenum lanthanum alloy sheet, is a kind of molybdenum alloy doped with lanthanum oxide to improve the high temperature properties of molybdenum. The high-temperature molybdenum sheet supplied by our company has good flatness and smoothness, and is suitable for deep processing. The surface of high-temperature molybdenum sheet is bright, smooth and flat without delamination, crack, impurity, crack edge and other undesirable phenomena. It can be processed according to the size or drawing provided by the customer.
Properties of High Temperature Molybdenum Sheet
High temperature molybdenum sheet, like pure molybdenum sheet, starts from molybdenum powder, pressing, sintering, hot rolling, warm rolling, cold rolling, heat treatment, and then cutting to customized size. Compared with pure molybdenum sheet, high temperature molybdenum sheet has higher recrystallization temperature, stronger creep resistance, better welding performance and high temperature strength.
Parameters of High Temperature Molybdenum Sheet
Thickness (mm) | Width (mm) | Length (mm) | Surface |
0.05-0.1 | 150 | --- | cold rolling |
0.1-0.15 | 300 | 1000 | cold rolling |
0.15-0.2 | 400 | 1500 | cold rolling |
0.2-0.3 | 650 | 2500 | cold rolling |
0.3-1 | 750 | 3500 | cold rolling |
1-2 | 600 | 3000 | acid pickling, alkaline washing |

>3 | 600 | --- | acid pickling, ground |
We prepare our molybdenum to perform perfectly in every application. We can determine the following properties through the addition of various alloys:
- Physical properties (e.g. melting point, vapor pressure, density, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, thermal expansion, heat capacity)
- Mechanical properties (e.g. strength, fracture behavior, creep resistance, ductility)
- Chemical properties (corrosion resistance, etchability)
- Machinability (e.g. cutting processes, formability, weldability)
- Recrystallization behavior (recrystallization temperature, embrittlement, aging effects)
And there's more: By using our own customized manufacturing processes, we can modulate various other properties of molybdenum across a wide range of values. The result: Molybdenum alloys with different ranges of properties which are precisely engineered to meet the requirements of each individual application.
