Characteristics And Applications of Molybdenum Rods
Molybdenum rod can be used in electronics and electrics: molybdenum has good conductivity and high temperature performance, especially its thermal expansion coefficient is very close to that of glass, so molybdneum is widely used as the core wire, lead wire, side bar and other parts of the spiral filament in the bulb.
Molybdenum rod is also used as the grid and anode support material in the electronic tube. In addition to pure molybdenum, Mo Re alloy can be used as the structural material of electronic tubes and special bulbs in modern electronic industry, Mo-50Re and TZM alloys can also be used as thermionic cathode structural components in high-power microwave tubes and millimeter wave tubes.
Molybdenum rod can be applied as high temperature components: used for thermal spraying materials, making heating elements and structural materials of high temperature furnaces.
