TZM Description:

TZM alloy is Titnaium-Zirconium-Molybdenum Alloy and it is one of commonly used high temperature molybdenum alloy.

TZM alloy has good mechanical properties, especially at high temperature.

 

TZM alloy is the best high temperature material of molybdenum alloy at present. It is a solid solution hardened and particle reinforced molybdenum based alloy, which consists of 0.50% titanium, zirconium and 0.08% molybdenum alloy with the rest 0.02% carbon. Physical and chemical properties are superior to that of pure molybdenum. The recrystallization temperature is about 1400 ° C, much higher than that of molybdenum, which can provide better weldability.
