Introduction of Molybdenum Sheet
Molybdenum sheet is widely used, mainly due to its high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance and other excellent properties.
The preparation process of molybdenum sheet is as followings: mixing - pressing forming - sintering - molybdenum blank (raw material) - inspection - hot rolling - annealing - alkali washing - inspection - tempering - vacuum annealing - inspection - cold rolling - leveling - shearing vacuum annealing - inspection - packaging. After subsequent rolling and processing, the deformation of molybdenum sheet reaches more than 60%, and its density is basically close to the theoretical density of molybdenum. Therefore, molybdenum sheet has high strength, uniform internal structure and excellent high temperature creep resistance, so it can be made into reflection screens and cover plates in sapphire crystal growth furnaces, reflection screens, heating belts and connectors in vacuum furnaces, sputtering targets for plasma coating, high temperature resistant boats and other products, molybdenum sheet is applied in various fields.
Characteristics of Molybdenum Sheet
After cross rolling and vacuum heat treatment, 99.95% pure molybdenum sheet has the advantages of high strength, high temperature resistance, uniform internal structure and high temperature creep resistance. Molybdenum sheet has stable performance and better processing performance, and is suitable for deep processing such as wire drawing, stamping and bending.
Applications of Molybdenum Sheet
Molybdenum sheets and plates are usually used for electronic and semiconductor components, chemical corrosion parts and high-temperature structural parts, and also for the production of molybdenum screens, molybdenum boats, molybdenum boxes, molybdenum heating elements and accessories in vacuum furnaces.
