Description of Tungsten Crucible:
Tungsten crucible is a crucible made of tungsten. Tungsten crucible has the characteristics of high melting point, high strength and hardness, good high temperature performance, low electrical resistivity, small expansion coefficient and small electron escape work. So tungsten crucible is an important component of sapphire long crystal furnace.
As a container for high temperature environment, tungsten crucible is used in sapphire long crystal field, rare earth smelting, coating and other industries.
Tungsten crucibles have different production processes according to different overall dimensions and service conditions. Common crucible shapes are round, square, strip, V-shaped, etc. The manufacturing process includes sintering forming, welding forming, stamping forming and spinning forming, among which sintering products are most widely used. For micro and small tungsten crucibles, forged tungsten rods can be used for turning or stamping. The welding process of tungsten sheet adopts hot bending of rolled tungsten plate, which is finally fixed by welding. Spinning is suitable for producing thin-wall tungsten crucible with high process requirements.
Tungsten Crucible Application:
In terms of use, tungsten crucibles are widely used in rare earth smelting, quartz glass, electronic spraying, crystal growth and other industries. They are mainly used in industrial furnaces such as rare earth metal smelting furnace, quartz glass smelting furnace, induction furnace heater, high-temperature container of single crystal furnace, sapphire single crystal growth furnace, high-temperature vacuum furnace and so on. The working temperature is generally above 2000 ° C. Note: during the growth of sapphire crystal, the tungsten crucible shall have the characteristics of no internal crack, accurate size, and smooth internal and external walls.
