High Temperature Resistance Tungsten Copper Alloy W80Cu20 used for Vacuum Contact Material
Tungsten Copper alloy Properties:
Tungsten copper alloy is a pseudo alloy with two-phase structure, which is based on tungsten and vice composed of copper. It is a composite material in metal due to the great difference in physical properties between copper and tungsten, melting and casting can not be used for production. Now, powder alloy technology is generally used for production.
Tungsten copper alloy has some advantages of both tungsten and copper, such as high temperature resistance, high strength, arc burning resistance, good conductivity and thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion, easy processing, etc.
Tungsten copper alloy applications:
Tungsten copper alloy is widely applied in welding electrode, arc contact and vacuum contact of high and medium voltage circuit breaker, EDM electrode and other industries.
High performance materials for Aerospace: tungsten copper alloys have high density, sweating cooling performance, high high temperature strength and erosion and ablation resistance.
Tungsten copper alloys can be applied as vacuum contact material. Advantages: high ablation resistance, high toughness, good electric conductivity and thermal conductivity. Good machining performance.
